Two months into 2008....

and I finally get around to updating this thing. News Years Eve went great as a capacity crowd was on hand. They counted them as they went in--only so many to the room. Marvin came back for the night and everything was a little loud but with that many people, it didn't matter. Davis made it home and partied "numerous" nights with his old school buddies. Now that he is legal, the parties get a little louder. The band also played at the Okoboji Winter Games to another great crowd and a fun day of watching snowmobiles, skating, hockey, and a "Polar Plunge" by 170 people into the waters of West Okoboji. The weather has not been this cooperative for the event the past few years and it has been many years since I set foot on a frozen lake and have never parked my vehicle on one. Ice was said to be at least two feet thick in most places.

We recently replaced our second hand furniture in the basment with a new couch and chair. All are recliners which improves the home theatre setup.

Attached are some pics of Davis's plane and crew that was taken in England the last time he was there. The mouth was a temporary graphic as the bosses don't allow them painted on. See if you can find "Waldo"
