New York, New York

Vacation this year was to New York, NY. Caught a bus tour in Des Moines after leaving car with niece Alyse and headed east. (sounds eecee). Overnights in Chicago and College Station, PA before arriving in Clifton, NJ, home base for 3 days. Bus driver was a little southern lady that had lived in NY for a few years and driven tours there for many. She could wheel that bus anywhere necessary in downtown Manhatten to get us wherever we needed. Highlights were Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, top of Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, NBC Studios (Today and Nightly News sets), Radio City Music Hall, meal at Carnigie Deli, a look at WTC site, 9 to 5 broadway musical, Coney Island and boardwalk with Nathan's Famous hot dogs, Metropolitan Musuem, and New York Aquarium. Close to 400 pictures taken. Will poke some in here soon.

Daycare is starting up with school beginning Aug 20. Construction has also began for new school building.
