A fun Fourth

Great weather made for a great 4th. Friday was started with a Vette trip to a parade in West Bend and a meal with in-laws afterward. After arriving home, Dan took his truck to the park to get a spot for fireworks. More in-laws over for a grilled meal and then up to the fireworks for the night. Saturday consisted of a Vette trip to Emmetsburg for another parade and car show at casino, then back home and trek to Algona for races. Got to see Josh take a 4th and Roger Trip get a win. After all that, Sunday was spent at home changing oil in the van and fixing a toilet leak. Monday is a Vette club meeting.

One big milestone for Dan. He went to the bank and paid his truck off months early. He is really going to love not making those payments!!

The band will be seen in Waterbury NE on the 12th, Laurens on the 18th (Friday), and back to the Barefoot Bar on Okoboji the 19th. Check www.parksmarina.com for webcams at the Barefoot including sound.
